Last Night

Last night was a good night. Just friends at D&B's. It just felt good to have a drink, go play some skee ball (in which i had 250, but then got beat twice with Clements 270 and 290) and some Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Just some good laughing and yelling at the machine as we saw our million theoretical dollars drop down to 8. haha. Friends i don't see often (Karen) and friends i see daily to friends i only see once a week on bowling night.

Freakin skee ball. What an addicting game. So hard to get over 300 pts. grrr.

Get away

I kinda feel stressed out. I want to just get away for a little while and chill ax. Not really do anything. Know what i mean? Once my job this summer is done i think it will be great relief to visit my bro in new york for a week or two to see the city and visit DC. I understand he'll be at school, i just want to be the graduate without a plan for a little while. Ya know? (p.s. eric if you read this no worries, i won't bug you out there, i just need a floor to sleep on. lol)

If you know anything about me there is one thing that can take my breathe away its something like this.

I know there is so much more potential out there then here. Just looking at what may gleam amongst the starts while i sit here is the most disappointing feeling ever. What are we missing out on?

I took a trip to the Griffith Observatory a few months ago, and I can't remember the last time i was that excited. Read about the planets, see the starts, read all the specs, and then to sit by a metal statue of my theoretical hero Einstein.

So much potential in the stars. Its so much bigger than the "human race." Yet its still sooo very far away.

Be wat it is

So graduation is 7 weeks away. Man. Time to leave this school for sure and start a little bit of my life. Know what i mean. I like school, and one day in 2-3 years ill go back most definitely to get my master's degree. But for now I want to be able to on saturday and sunday not have to worry about tests or homework.

I want to be able to take classes at night or on the weekend to enrich my life. Enjoy my life. Thats my goal.

So this article was written some 4 years ago. But it is about how a world famous violin player anonymously played in a washington D.C. subway to see if ordinary people recognized beauty and superb quality music for the Washington Post.

I originally thought this article was going to be boring and one of those that would take forever to read. But once I began to read the article, it swiftly went by and caused only a sense of sadness over how people do not take a moment out of their day to enjoy the world around them, and merely focus on the challenges ahead.

Freakin PI Day!!!

So i know we all woke up this morning and said this out loud..."Oh crap!! I have a History 70a Revolutions Final at 10:30am!!"....okay...well maybe I did. BUT...after that we all said "Oh my!! Its freakin PI Day!! 3.14!!! Heck ya!!" Right?? Don't lie. It was on everyones mind this morning.

You know what this means for muah? Right? Even though i am studying for a final that is at 8am Wed...I have to go buy a pie later. Its like a requirement this one day of the year. And guess what? You'll all be jealous tomorrow when I upload the picture of the pie tomorrow. Will it be Oreo pie again? Perhaps my favorite this year..French Apple....OoOoO....
